We Go By the Books
Compliance guidelines are becoming increasingly more complicated as time moves on, the regulations instilled by organizations like the EPA and DEP—on local, state and federal levels—must all be adhered to. Going by the books means a safer environment, and leaves a paper trail (no pun intended) of proof that your waste was handled accordingly and properly. We’ll provide you with the appropriate documentation that proves your job met LEED recycling requirements. That will allow you to gain LEED credits and ensure that your jobsite is consistently safe for all who enter it, whether they’re employees, nearby residents or commuters passing by. Here at The Recycling Co., we’ll make sure to help meet all of your recycling goals.
LEED Explained
If you’re wondering exactly what LEED is, it stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. LEED is a third-party organization that regulates and certifies environmentally friendly (or “green”) building. Compliance guidelines apply both to commercial and residential build sites, and LEED authorities track those sites to ensure that contractors follow guidelines all the way through. Completed buildings that are energy efficient and emit minimal amounts of pollution will attain high LEED ratings, which translates to higher cost savings overall. Because of our expertise on LEED requirements, we’ve become an industry leader for New Jersey.
Safe Destruction Certified
We’ll make sure you’re sure that the waste we take care of was shredded, segregated and submitted to the paper mill (to become recycled and mashed into liquefied pulp for paper good manufacturing) in way which complies with LEED standards. We’ll ensure that by providing you with a certificate indicating that the materials were disposed of properly under the guidelines of the New Jersey EPA and DEP.
